Astrophotography Workshop & A Voyage to Iceland!

What to do during the dog days of summer?  Get out of the city and join our astrophotography workshop in beautiful, relaxing Wimberley, Texas!  You might actually See the Dog Star: Sirius!  We most certainly will be talking about this star’s lore.

This workshop is in preparation for our other news:

Environmental Arts Alliance and The Stars at Night team is excited to share that we have been invited to to screen The Stars at Night on board The Atlas Ocean Voyages World Traveler cruise from Reykjavik to Dublin in September of this year!  Workshop attendees will get more info about this special cruise and friends & family rates.

The Astrophotography Workshop will consist of a brief Storytelling lecture + videos,  followed by a hands on astrophotography workshop on Saturday, August 16th at the beautiful, recently renovated Bygone Hotel in Wimberley.  The Bygone features modern, renovated rooms, a beautiful pool and a wonderful sky deck where the outdoor portion of the workshop will take place— once the sun goes down. In this part of the Hill Country there is typically a cool breeze after sunset as well.
